ABOUT
Since 2013, the Capistrano Coyotes have been a proud
member of the Anaheim Ducks High School Hockey League
(ADHSHL). The Coyotes were one of the first non-pure
Varsity teams to compete at the Varsity Division 1 level
in the ADHSHL. The 2020-2021 Coyotes are the
programs first representatives to compete in the USA
Hockey National Championships at the Varsity Division 2
level, finishing runner-up in a finals overtime loss. The
team also secured its second CAHA Varsity Division 2A
title with the first coming with an automatic bid in the
2019-2020 season as well as a bid to USA Hockey Nationals
cut short due to COVID.
A 5-time Varsity Division 2 Champion and 2-time Junior Varsity Champion, the Capistrano Coyotes continue to emphasize player development but more importantly scholastic development of our student-athletes. If you attend Aliso Niguel, Capistrano Valley, Dana Hills, San Clemente, San Juan Hills, Serra, Tesoro High School or are a home schooled student within our district then you too are a Coyote!
